Sir Joe, the Ghana Education Service (GES) Examination Officer at the Kumawu Education Directorate, has participated in a presentation on MiLife Insurance policies for staff of the Directorate.
The presentation was organised by MiLife Insurance through the District’s Public Relation Officer, took place at the Conference Room of the Kumawu Education Office on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. The session aimed to educate staff on the importance of financial planning and the various insurance policies available to help them prepare for the future.
Mr. Christopher Bekyieriya, the Manager for the Northern Zone of MiLife Insurance, in his address, encouraged staff to develop the habit of planning financially for the future. He emphasised the importance of preparing for unforeseen circumstances and making informed financial decisions to protect themselves and their families.
Mr. Bekyieriya explained that MiLife Insurance offers four major policies designed to meet different financial needs, particularly for workers, including staff of the Ghana Education Service. The policies presented were miLegacy, miCash, miKids, and miTribute.
He took the staff through how each policy works, outlining the eligibility requirements, insurance coverage, and benefits. The presentation also provided an opportunity for staff to gain a better understanding of the policies and seek clarification on issues concerning their financial security.
Sir Joe showed keen interest in the presentation and actively participated by asking relevant questions to gain a deeper understanding of the insurance products.
Madam Cynthia Ackom, the District Public Relations Officer (PRO), and other officers of the Kumawu Education Directorate also asked questions during the session. The MiLife Insurance team responded to their concerns and provided further explanations to help the staff better understand the available policies.
Mr. Bekyieriya revealed that October is MiLife Insurance’s Customer Service Month and explained that the team had chosen to celebrate the occasion with the staff by sharing cake and soft drinks.
The MiLife Insurance team also donated a set of football jerseys to the staff of the Sekyere Kumawu Education Directorate.
The presentation was led by Mr. Christopher Bekyieriya, Manager for the Northern Zone, and Mr. Douglas Arthur, Marketing Manager of MiLife Insurance. Other financial advisors from the company were also present to support the engagement and provide additional information to the staff.
