The Ministry of the Interior has announced an extension of the Security Services Aptitude Test dates for Category C (WASSCE) applicants under the Centralized Services E-Recruitment Portal (C-SERP) 2025/2026.
This decision comes after the Ministry acknowledged the challenges some applicants faced while attempting to submit or complete their aptitude tests online. The extension is aimed at ensuring fairness and giving every affected candidate the opportunity to fully participate in the recruitment process.
New Aptitude Test Schedule for Category C (WASSCE)
The deadline for the aptitude test has been extended to 28th February 2026. A special mop-up exercise will take place starting Saturday, 21st February 2026, in service-based batches as follows:

2️⃣ 24th – 25th February 2026
- Ghana Police Service
3️⃣ 26th – 28th February 2026

Applicants are strongly encouraged to take note of their specific service dates and ensure they complete their aptitude tests within the assigned period.
General Mop-Up for All Categories (A–C)
In addition to the Category C extension, the Ministry has scheduled a general mop-up exercise for all categories (A to C) from:
- 1st – 2nd March 2026
The results of the aptitude test are expected to be published on:
- 4th March 2026
This provides another opportunity for candidates who may have encountered difficulties earlier in the process.
Important Notice to Applicants
- SMS notifications will be sent to all affected applicants with instructions on how to log into the portal and retake the test.
- Applicants who have already successfully completed their aptitude test (approximately 82%) will not be able to log into the system again during the mop-up period.
- Candidates should carefully follow instructions provided in the SMS to avoid missing the opportunity.
Upcoming Live Social Media Engagement
To further support applicants, the Ministry has announced a live social media session to be led by the technical facilitator. The session will address issues related to the aptitude test and other concerns.
Date: Sunday, 22nd February 2026
Time: 8:30 PM
Further details about the streaming platforms will be shared soon.

Why This Extension Matters
The extension reflects the Ministry’s commitment to transparency, fairness, and equal opportunity in the recruitment process. By allowing affected applicants to retake the test, the Ministry ensures that no candidate is disadvantaged due to technical challenges beyond their control.
Applicants are advised to:
- Regularly check their SMS messages.
