Accra Hearts of Oak won 1–0 against Asante Kotoko in Kumasi in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday, February 15, 2026.
The match was played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Asante Kotoko’s home ground for the GPL.
Hearts scored the only goal in the 17th minute when Baba Adamu’s looping header beat Mohammed Camara.
It is important to note that the Phobians, playing with 10 men for 65 minutes, won the game through Baba Adamu’s first-half header, ending Kotoko’s home invincibility in the league.
Many of the chances created by Asante Kotoko were comfortably saved by Benjamin Asare, the captain and goalkeeper of Accra Hearts of Oak.
The Phobians’ Sunday win has taken them to five points behind league leaders Medeama SC with 39 points.
