The West African Examinations Council has released the final timetable for the WASSCE for School Candidates (SC) 2026 in Ghana. The exam is expected to run from Tuesday, 7th April 2026 to Monday, 15th June 2026. Within the period, students will have one public holiday break on Friday, 1st May 2026 (Workers’ Day).

Critical Rules for Candidates
1. Time Discrepancies
If the duration on the question paper differs from the timetable, follow the question paper.
2. Pre-Release Materials
- General Knowledge in Art (Paper 3) and all Project Work papers (Basketry, Graphic Design, Leatherwork, Ceramics, Sculpture, Picture Making, Textiles, Jewellery) are given to candidates two weeks before the exam date.
3. Candidates with Disabilities
Visually impaired and hearing impaired candidates receive 1.5 times the standard time allotted to other candidates.
4. Practical Set Times
Many practical papers have two sets (1st Set and 2nd Set). Confirm your assigned batch with your school examination officer to avoid arriving at the wrong time.
